A Round Up Of Drum & Bass In 2015 So Far…

Posted by Adam on 1st July 2015

Today is the exact half way point in the year, which I know that because I Googled it before I started writing this article, and so far 2015 has been a fantastic year for Drum & Bass so I felt it appropriate to give you a run down of my favourite tunes of 2015 so far.

So, in no particular order (but starting with my favourite), here’s my top 15 Drum & Bass tunes that the first half of this year has given us…

DRS – The View Ft LSB & Tyler Daley (Soul:r) – Buy It Here
Probably my favourite tune of 2015 so far and to be fair one of my favourite Drum & Bass tunes full stop. Wicked vocals from DRS and Tyler Daley backed with the impeccable music of LSB.

Calyx & Teebee – Long Gone (Ram Records) – Buy It Here
What can be said about this tune? One of the catchiest hooks you’ll ever come across in DnB with Calyx’s vocals and the duo’s trademark production skills. Another tune that’s going to be on rotation long after 2015 ends.

Mefjus & Rido – Correlation (Blackout Music) – Buy It Here
Something a bit different now from Mefjus & Rido’s Optimum Trajectory EP as they go against the grain with something glitchy.

Icicle – Will You Be Mine ft. Sarah Hezen (Ulterior Motive Remix) (Shogun Audio) – Buy It Here
Only just released in time to appear on this list the Ulterior Motive have unleashed hell with this remix and have created something raw. Monster tune.

SpectraSoul – Shelter Ft. Lily McKenzie (Shogun Audio) – Buy It Here
Sticking with Shogun for this one but taking the tempo down with this absolute beauty from Spectrasoul’s album The Mistress. There’s a lot of very, VERY good Drum & Bass on the album but this tune always remained my favourite.
