Soul Intent – Late Night Sleaze EP (Lossless Music)

Posted by Adam on 30th November 2015

It’s time to get sleazy with a brand new EP from Soul Intent on his Lossless Music imprint – the 5th release on the label since it started in 2013.

The thing that I have always enjoyed with Soul Intent’s music is that it’s slightly raw and rough around the edges – not in the sense that it’s not been produced very well, in fact the exact opposite is true of this EP, but in the sense that it’s not over polished and over compressed like a lot of Drum & Bass is these days. It’s purely about the vibe.

A jazzy collaboration with DJ Tango titled 1,2,3,4 kicks things off with Go Hustle and the title track Late Night Sleeze following up with some proper dark vibes. The EP is rounded off with the absolutely gorgeous Nearly There featuring Chris Gittins which is in total contrast to the rest of the tracks but works perfectly and has become a bit of a personal favourite.

The Late Night Sleaze EP will be released on 4th December and you can get your orders in now for digital and the wicked red marbled vinyl on the Lossless Music bandcamp page.
